CLG Cloudflare DDNS privacy notice
Version 2026-11-04.2 · Applies when this version is published.
CLG Performance LLC, 675 Gatewood Way, Monroe, GA 30656, USA, is responsible for this software service. Contact support@clgperformance.com or 678-951-2847 about privacy or account information.
Information used to provide the service
- Account and license: website account linkage, current and verified email, license status, annual periods and anniversaries, registration-key issue/revocation information, lifetime grants and activation history. These provide software access and account administration.
- Computer activation: a random installation ID, Windows computer name, app version, activation/validation times and deactivation state. The server stores a keyed hash of the installation credential to enforce the one-computer allowance and support transfers.
- Purchases: billing name/address, country, state and ZIP; your US billing declaration; renewal choice and consent; accepted policy versions; the agreed price/tax/total; payment, order, invoice, customer and subscription references; amounts, status and receipts. These document eligibility, consent, payment verification and billing support. Payment review and disputes can add related reasons and evidence.
- Service email: recipient, message content, message identifier, submission state/attempts and timestamps. Verification messages contain a time-limited link; the separate verification record stores a token hash. Delivery metadata supports troubleshooting and prevents duplicate submissions.
- Security and administration: account-related actions, administrator IDs, reasons and times; connection information, including IP addresses; and short-lived request-rate counters. These support account protection, abuse controls and review of changes.
The Windows app does not collect your Joomla website password. Licensing requests do not include your Cloudflare token, selected DNS-record names or detected public-IP value. The licensing server still receives the connection's source IP as normal network information.
Where requests go
CLG: activation sends your email, key, installation ID, computer name, app version and a random request value. Later validation sends the installation ID/credential, version and a new request value. License and update requests use clgperformance.com.
Cloudflare: the app sends your token and DNS requests directly to Cloudflare. The token is not uploaded to the CLG licensing server. ipify and fallback icanhazip provide public-IP detection; they receive the connection IP and the app's versioned user-agent without the Cloudflare credential.
Square: Square hosts payment entry and receives the checkout information needed for the purchase. The CLG licensing component does not collect card numbers. CLG retains the relevant payment references and evidence described above. Email providers: service messages pass through CLG's local MailEnable server and the recipient's mail provider. Those providers process the information needed for delivery.
Local Windows storage
Your computer stores selected records, preferences, logs, registration information, signed authorization/update state and any hosts-file backups. Tokens and registration data use Windows data protection; service storage also has restricted machine permissions. Uninstalling the app or removing the service retains local settings and history.
Forget token affects the current desktop or service profile. It does not revoke the token in Cloudflare, erase other profiles or delete backup copies. You control customer-side Windows files and backups; the server retention process does not remotely erase them.
Retention and backups
We retain software payment, license, device and audit history while software access is active and normally for seven years after it ends and related billing is resolved. Relevant records may be retained longer for an unresolved dispute or legal requirement. Removing software membership preserves the website account and historical records until the applicable retention process is completed.
Personal content in the software's email-delivery history is removed from live storage after 90 days, subject to applicable holds. Submission identifiers, status and timing can remain with the associated account/audit history to prevent duplicate actions. Copies of removed content can remain in company-managed rotating backups for up to 90 additional days, excluded from normal use. Required redactions are reapplied before a restored backup returns to service.
Routine CLG software server logs and managed backups follow a 90-day rotation, with dispute/legal exceptions. This schedule concerns software records and classified CLG server artifacts. It does not erase unrelated repair/membership records, global mailboxes or customer-controlled copies of received email.
Your requests and controls
Use My Software to manage renewal and deactivate a computer. Deactivating a computer prevents new online authorization; an existing signed offline allowance can remain valid until its deadline, at most 24 hours. Uninstalling or deleting local files does not cancel a Square subscription.
Contact support to request access to, correction of or deletion of your information. We verify account ownership before disclosure or changes and explain any required retention or other limits. Cancellation, membership removal and a privacy request are separate actions. They do not automatically erase invoices, payment evidence or all historical records.
Software scope and website visits
This notice covers CLG Cloudflare DDNS software, licensing and related purchases. It does not describe every repair, membership or other service offered through the broader CLG website.
Account pages use the website's sign-in sessions and protected forms. The broader website includes Google analytics tags. When those tags load, Google can receive connection and browser information, and analytics can use cookies or browser storage according to the site's active configuration. See Google's privacy notice. This software notice does not claim that website visits collect no IP information or use no tracking, that all processing stays inside CLG, or that the existing wider-site notice is a complete account of other services. Contact CLG about a service outside this software scope.
See the software terms for the annual price, renewal choice, cancellation and 14-day refund policy.
